Alaska Permanent Fund Corp., Juneau, hired TorreyCove Capital Partners and LP Capital Advisors as consultants for private market and special opportunity investments, said Marcus Frampton, director of investment, private markets, at the $54 billion sovereign wealth fund.
APFC’s private markets portfolio comprises private equity, private credit, infrastructure and other real assets, which totaled about $5.7 billion as of March 31. Special opportunities includes strategies that seek market inefficiencies.
An RFP was issued in March. Mr. Frampton said additional firms could be hired as a result of the RFP.
Firms that already advise APFC on private market opportunities include Pathway Capital Management, Crestline Investors and BlackRock.
