Kentucky Retirement Systems, Frankfort, is looking for an executive search firm to conduct a search for an executive director, said David Peden, chief investment officer.
The RFP is available on KRS’ website. Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. EDT on June 26. A hiring decision is expected by the end of July.
In April, William A. Thielen, executive director, announced he will retire by the end of 2015. It is expected Mr. Thielen will stay on until his replacement is found, Mr. Peden previously told Pensions & Investments.
KRS administers an $11.5 billion pension fund and $4.1 billion insurance fund.
