Trevedi Tewari was named vice president and head of institutional, U.K. and Ireland at OM Asset Management, a spokeswoman said.
It is a new position.
Effective June 1, Mr. Tewari will join OMAM’s global distribution team, which provides sales, marketing and client relationship support to enhance the distribution capabilities of the firm’s affiliates. He will report to Olivier Lebleu, head of international business at OMAM.
Mr. Tewari was a director in consultant relations at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, which is now part of Aberdeen Asset Management. Aberdeen spokeswoman Katie Cowley could not be reached by press time for information on whether he was replaced.
OMAM had $224 billion in assets under management as of March 31.
