University System of Georgia, Atlanta, rehired SunTrust Banks as discretionary investment consultant and custodian for its $580 million pooled investment fund, said Kristi Fuss, the system’s controller, in an e-mail.
The board of regents issued an RFP in January as a due diligence measure. Graystone Consulting and Wells Fargo were the other finalists.
The pooled investment fund consists of the assets of six funds, including the $37 million Diversified Fund for Foundations.
