Andreea M. Georgiu and J. Bret Young joined INTECH Investment Management as managing directors, business development, said company spokeswoman Ciara Brinkmann.
Both positions are new. Ms. Georgiu and Mr. Young are responsible for developing and managing new business opportunities, with the goal of establishing new client relationships for INTECH. They report directly to John F. Brown, executive vice president, head of global client development.
Ms. Georgiu was vice president, institutional sales at Cornerstone Capital Management. Mr. Young, meanwhile, was senior vice president, head of institutional and private wealth distribution at Curian Capital.
It could not be learned by press time if they were replaced; a Cornerstone spokeswoman confirmed that Ms. Georgiu worked there but declined to comment further, and Curian Capital spokeswoman Melissa Hernandez could not be reached by press time.
INTECH had about $51.2 billion in assets under management as of March 31.
