Gay Lynn Bath was named director of retirement plans management at University of Oregon, Eugene, Ms. Bath said in an e-mail.
Ms. Bath will start June 1 and will replace Denise Yunker. Ms. Yunker said she is retiring after 18 years in the role.
Ms. Bath will work with the university’s 401(a) plan and two 403(b) plans, all of which have a combined $1 billion in assets, as well as the $70.3 billion Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund, Salem, $1.7 billion Oregon Savings Growth Plan, Salem, both offered to employees at Oregon’s seven public universities.
Ms. Bath is currently deferred compensation manager of the Oregon Savings Growth Plan. She said Kathy Gannon, the plan’s program coordinator, will be taking over most of her duties, and her manager, Kyle Knoll, will take over supervisory duties, until a permanent replacement is found.
