Danville (Va.) Employees’ Retirement System is searching for a real estate manager for the $240 million pension fund.
The city is looking for a manager to run $25 million in core, core-plus or value-added real estate, and will consider open- and closed-end funds, according to the RFP. Two managers could be hired, at $10 million to $15 million each.
The search is being handled by investment consultant Dahab Associates. The Danville procurement office referred calls to Dahab. Officials at Dahab could not be reached by press time.
The RFP is posted on Dahab’s website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on June 15. A selection date was not given.
