Connecticut Treasurer Denise L. Nappier presented three semifinalists to provide private investment fund consulting services to the $29.5 billion Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds, Hartford, at the investment advisory council meeting Wednesday.
The three firms are incumbent Franklin Park Associates, StepStone Group and TorreyCove Capital Partners, said a news release issued by Ms. Nappier’s office.
Franklin Park’s contract expires Sept. 30.
An RFP was issued in November. Nine firms originally responded to the RFP. Franklin Park has been the private investment fund consultant since 2004.
The private investment fund, which consists of a number of externally managed funds invested across venture capital and corporate finance private equity strategies, had $2.6 billion as of Sept. 30.
