Keefe, Bruyette & Woods estimates the cutoff for new member inclusion in the Russell 2000 index to be about $177 million in 2015.
The firm published its updated expectations in a research note Wednesday. The Russell 2000 estimate is down 4.4% from April’s estimate of $186 million, but up 5.2% from 2014’s reconstitution cutoff.
KBW highlights 30 financial services companies as possible additions to the Russell 2000 in 2015 – 14 real estate, 11 banks/thrifts and five diversified financials.
