Colorado Fire & Police Pension Association, Greenwood Village, made a direct hedge fund investment of $45 million in Anchor Bolt Offshore Fund, a long/short equity hedge fund, said Scott Simon, chief investment officer.
It is a first-time investment for the $4.2 billion pension fund in a fund managed by Anchor Bolt Capital.
