Illinois Student Assistance Commission, Springfield, is searching for a custodian on behalf of the $1.1 billion College Illinois Trust Fund, the state’s prepaid tuition program, said Kevin Kelly, procurement officer.
The commission issued an RFP due to the impending contract expiration of the current custodian Northern Trust; the firm is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on a state procurement website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on June 8. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
