Michael J. Morsberger was named CEO of the University of Central Florida Foundation, Orlando, the $287 million foundation’s website said.
Mr. Morsberger will start June 1 and replace Robert Holmes, who announced in February he would retire once a replacement was found.
Mr. Morsberger was previously vice president for development and alumni relations at George Washington University. He left the university in October for family reasons.
UCF spokeswoman Anne Botteri was not available to provide further information by press time.
