Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System, Harrisburg, is searching for an active large-cap growth domestic equity manager to run approximately $146 million and an active small-cap growth domestic equity manager to run approximately $70 million for the $2 billion pension plan.
Dahab Associates, investment consultant to PMRS, is assisting with the searches.
William Dahab, a principal and director of research at Dahab Associates, said the searches are being conducted to comply with state law, which requires contracts to be rebid periodically.
Polen Capital is the plan’s current large-cap manager and BMO Global Asset Management is the current small-cap manager. Both are invited to rebid.
The RFPs are on Dahab’s website.
Proposals for the small-cap manager are due June 1; large-cap manager, June 15. Selection dates have not yet been determined.
