Boston Water and Sewer Commission is seeking proposals from investment management firms to run about $4.5 million in an open-end real estate fund for its $90 million pension fund.
NEPC, investment consultant for the commission, is assisting with the search.
The proposed fund should have a gross asset value of at least $500 million as of Dec. 31, a minimum track record of at least three years and at least five existing public pension fund clients.
The RFP can be obtained on NEPC's website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT on May 28. A selection date was not disclosed.
