California State University, Long Beach, Calif., is searching for record keepers for its $1.1 billion 403(b) plan, said Melody Kojima, interim director, contract services and procurement, in an e-mail.
The university is issuing an RFP due to the impending contract expirations of the five current record keepers on Dec. 31.
The current record keepers — Fidelity Investments, MetLife, TIAA-CREF, VALIC and Voya Retirement Services — are all invited to rebid.
The university will either retain the current lineup of record keepers or move to a sole record keeper, the RFP said. Ms. Kojima referred questions to the RFP.
The RFP is available on procurement website PlanetBids. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 10 a.m. PDT on May 29. Finalist interviews are scheduled for Aug. 10, with a notice of intent to award scheduled for Aug. 24.
