Aviva Investors adds U.K. equities fund manager

Simon Young joined Aviva Investors as U.K. equities fund manager, a spokesman said.

The position is new, and Mr. Young reports to Trevor Green, head of U.K. equities. Mr. Young works on the firm’s £6 billion ($9 billion) institutional U.K. equity fund and a retail strategy.

Mr. Young was previously a U.K. equities fund manager at BlackRock, said a news release from Aviva. A BlackRock spokesman could not be reached for comment by press time.
