Hollywood (Fla.) Police Officers’ Retirement System hired Snow Capital Management and Wells Capital Management to run $11 million each in active domestic large-cap value equities, recently released board meeting minutes said.
Funding comes from the $267 million pension fund’s termination of Buckhead Capital Management because of personnel changes. Buckhead ran $22 million in active domestic large-cap value equities.
The pension fund conducted an invitation-only search in February. Other finalists were Ceredex Value Advisors and BRC Investment Management.
Investment consultant Thistle Asset Consulting assisted.
Dave Williams, plan administrator, did not return a phone call seeking further information by press time.
