Westport, Conn., reissued an RFP seeking administrative services for its defined benefit and defined contribution plans, said Richard Kotchko, the town's purchasing officer.
An RFP seeking administrative services was originally issued in August, but Ralph M. Chetcuti, the town's human resources director, said some potential bidders found the RFP confusing, so it was withdrawn and rewritten.
The town of Westport sponsors six DB plans totaling about $260 million in assets. Westport also sponsors two DC plans totaling about $15 million.
Wells Fargo is the current administrator. It is invited to rebid. Fiduciary Investment Advisors, investment consultant to the town, is assisting with the search.
The RFP is available on the town's website.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EDT on April 15. A selection date has yet to be determined.
