Michael De Lathauwer joined Cardano Group as co-group CEO, a spokesman said.
The position is new. Mr. De Lathauwer is co-CEO alongside Theo Kocken.
“Bringing (Mr. De Lathauwer) on board at Cardano represents a significant moment in our development,” Mr. Kocken said in a news release. “(His) background and expertise will help us to further develop our business and the solutions we provide as well (as) allow us to consider international expansion opportunities.”
Mr. De Lathauwer left Goldman Sachs in 2013. He was responsible for the pension and insurance solutions group, the release said. The spokesman said he has not held any other roles since.
