Dorset County Council Pension Fund, Dorchester, England, is looking for two managers to run a total £480 million ($717 million) in global equities allocations, said Ian Shea, director at investment consultant bfinance, which is helping with the search.
The £2.1 billion pension fund is looking for one manager to run a £240 million global active equities portfolio, and another manager for a £240 million global smart beta equities portfolio.
The search is part of a restructuring of the overseas equity allocation, Mr. Shea said in an e-mail. The existing managers are Pictet Asset Management, which manages a global ex-U.K. strategy, and INTECH, which manages a U.S. equity allocation. They are invited to rebid in the public search.
Proposals are due by May 14. Further details are available from investment consultant bfinance, at [email protected]. A decision is expected to be made in July.
