John Claisse, partner at Albourne Partners, will become CEO on Aug. 11, a posting on the alternatives consultant’s website said.
He will replace Simon Ruddick, co-founder and current CEO. Mr. Ruddick will remain on the three-person executive committee along with Mr. Claisse and Guy Ingram, partner and head of hedge fund research.
Mr. Claisse had been head of the portfolio group until September, when he was replaced by James Walsh, with this succession in mind.
