Alabama Trust Fund, Montgomery, is searching for a global equity manager to run $100 million, said an RFP on the website of Young Boozer, Alabama state treasurer.
The funding source could not be learned by press time.
According to the website, the $2.5 billion fund’s international equity managers are AllianceBernstein; American Century Investments; Artisan Partners Asset Management; QS Investors; Grantham Mayo van Otterloo; Invesco; Lazard Asset Management; Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley; Thornburg Investment Management; and Wells Fargo Asset Management.
The RFP is available on the treasurer’s website.
Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT April 28. No selection date was listed in the RFP.
The fund invests state oil and gas revenues.
Callan Associates, the fund’s investment consultant, is assisting.
