Catherine Booth was named U.K. institutional business development manager at Newton Investment Management.
The position is new, and Ms. Booth will be responsible for direct sales, independent trustee relationships and consultant initiatives, a news release said.
Ms. Booth will report to Julian Lyne, head of global consultant relations.
Ms. Booth was previously manager, institutional and charity sales at Baring Asset Management. A spokeswoman for Barings said she had not yet been replaced.
A spokeswoman for Newton did not respond to a request for comment by press time.
