Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System, Nashville, is searching for a private equity investment consultant, said Michael Brakebill, chief investment officer.
The $42.3 billion pension fund issued an RFP due to a requirement on how long the pension fund can have vendors under contract before putting their services up for bid. Cambridge Associates, the current consultant whose contract expires June 30, is invited to rebid.
The private equity consultant advises on the pension fund’s private equity and strategic lending portfolios. Private equity and strategic lending each have a 5% target allocation.
The RFP is available on the Treasury Department’s website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on April 23. Finalist presentations are scheduled for May 12-13 and a hiring decision is scheduled for May 20.
