Berkeley (Mo.) Police/Fire Employees Retirement System is searching for a custodian, said Joshua W. Beeks, the city’s finance director.
The $13 million pension fund issued an RFP for a custodian because incumbent U.S. Bank has been with the city for years, and the city has probably never put the services up for bid, Mr. Beeks said.
U.S. Bank is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the city’s website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CDT on April 17. Mr. Beeks said a decision would probably be made sometime in May.
