Brian McCauley joined SEI as a client director within the institutional group in London, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new, and Mr. McCauley reports to Nigel Down, managing director of relationship management (U.K.).
Mr. McCauley was previously responsible for fiduciary management research and selection at Buck Consultants, said an SEI news release. A spokeswoman for Buck could not be reached for comment by press time.
SEI also said Owen Khonje joined as investment analyst, private markets, within its alternative investments team.
The position is new. Mr. Khonje focuses on private market strategies, including private equity, real estate and real assets. He was previously on the investment team at Barclays PLC’s defined benefit scheme, the SEI news release said. A Barclays spokeswoman was not available to comment by press time.
