El Paso County Retirement Plan, Colorado Springs, Colo., is searching for a custodian, said Thomas Pfeifle, executive director of the $319 million pension fund.
The search is being conducted for due diligence reasons. Wells Fargo, the incumbent custodian, is invited to rebid.
“We have not issued (an RFP) on these services for quite some time, so we thought it best to at least go out to RFP and see what the market will bear for the same services,” Mr. Pfeifle said.
The RFP is available on the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 11 a.m. MDT on April 30. A hiring decision is expected on May 26.
