Brian Chiappinelli joined Boston Common Asset Management as senior vice president, head of business development, said a news release Wednesday.
It is a new position.
Mr. Chiappinelli was director, head of North America product specialist in private equity, at Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, which he left Feb. 27. Catherine Wooters, Deutsche spokeswoman, declined to comment.
Boston Common has $2.1 billion in assets under management, 70% of which is from institutional investors, spokeswoman Kristin Jenko said.
