Lauderhill Firefighters’ Retirement System, Palatka, Fla., plans to hire Invesco to run $3 million in international growth equities, said Barbara White, plan administrator.
The hire is pending finalization of the contract, Ms. White said. The $62 million pension fund issued an RFP in December for a manager to potentially replace Manning & Napier, which has been “on alert” for underperformance. At the time, Nicole Kingsley Brunner, spokeswoman for Manning & Napier, declined to comment.
Investment consultant Dahab Associates is assisting.
