Alexandria, Va., is searching for an international or global fixed-income manager for its Firefighters and Police Officers Pension Plan, said an RFP issued by Dahab Associates, the city's investment consultant.
The city is looking for a manager to run a total of $5 million to $10 million for the $250 million pension fund.
Funding will come from rebalancing, said William Dahab, principal and director of research at Dahab Associates, in an interview.
The benchmark will be an investment-grade global or ex-U.S. fixed income index, Mr. Dahab said.
The RFP is posted on Dahab's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on April 13. A selection date was not given.
