Phoenix City Employees' Retirement System is searching for a general investment consultant and possibly a real estate consultant, said Greg Fitchet, investment officer for the $2.2 billion pension fund.
The pension fund issued an RFP because one has not been issued since current investment consultant RVK was originally hired in 2005. The firm provides both general and real estate investment consulting services and is invited to rebid. Mr. Fitchet said the pension fund has never put the real estate services up for bid separately before and may or may not separate the services among two firms.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. MST on April 13. A decision will be made by June 30, when RVK's contract expires.
