Los Angeles County Deferred Compensation and Thrift Plans is preparing to launch an RFP for a proxy advisory firm later this month, said William Yuen, finance analyst for the $8 billion deferred compensation and $2 billion 401(k) plans.
Incumbent Marco Consulting Group's contract expires June 30; the firm can rebid.
A selection could be made as early as May. The RFP will be posted on the website of the Los Angeles County treasurer and tax collector, which will be conducting the search.
