Philadelphia Board of Pensions and Retirement is searching for a chief investment officer, said Francis Bielli, executive director of the $4.5 billion pension fund.
Sumit Handa, the pension fund’s previous CIO, resigned in January. Mr. Bielli is serving as interim CIO while the board seeks a permanent replacement.
The board has not hired a search firm. The city’s personnel department is assisting the board with the search.
There is currently no set time frame for the board to find a replacement.
The job posting is available on the city’s website.
