Falmouth (Mass.) Retirement System reissued an RFP for a small-cap international equity manager to run $3.4 million.
Both active and passive strategies will be considered.
The proposed strategy should be benchmarked to the appropriate index in the MSCI family of indexes or other comparable family of indexes. Only commingled strategies will be considered; separately managed accounts will not be eligible.
Wainwright Investment Counsel, investment consultant to the $114 million pension fund, is assisting with the search.
The RFP was originally issued in December with a Jan. 9 deadline. It could not be learned by press time why the RFP was reissued.
The new RFP is available on Wainwright’s website. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. EDT on April 7. A selection date has not been determined.
Francis St. Germaine, administrator for the pension fund, and Gustavo Aristizabal, Wainwright’s president, could not be reached for additional information.
