University of Leicester Pension & Assurance Scheme, Leicester, England, hired Barnett Waddingham as investment consultant, said Anthony Midgley, category manager in the university’s procurement office.
A search was launched last year.
Mr. Midgley could not immediately provide information on whether there was an incumbent consultant.
The defined benefit plan, which was closed to new members on July 31, 2003, had £124.4 million ($190 million) in assets as of July 21, 2013, the most recent available information.
