Klaus Kortebein was named managing director, global key accounts for CBRE Global Investors’ separate accounts business, said a news release from the real estate manager.
It is a new position, and Mr. Kortebein will be responsible for “creating business from institutional investors outside Europe by matching their needs with investment opportunities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa,” the news release said.
Mr. Kortebein previously was a senior adviser at CBRE Global Investors.
Spokeswoman Helen Stott could not immediately be reached for additional information on Mr. Kortebein’s new role and a replacement for him in his old role.
As of Dec. 31, CBRE Global Investors had $90.6 billion in assets under management.
