Robert J. Moore was named CEO of Legal & General Investment Management America, the company said in a news release Wednesday.
Mr. Moore replaces Mike Craston, who had served as CEO of LGIMA since 2011. Mr. Craston will retain his role as vice chairman of LGIMA.
Mr. Moore will assume his new role in early April. He will report to Mark Zinkula, chairman of the LGIMA board and CEO of Legal & General Investment Management.
Mr. Moore was president of LPL Financial, a consultant to retirement plans and broker-dealers and a custodian for registered investment advisers. Dan Arnold, the firm’s chief financial officer, will become president, LPL said in a separate news release. The company said it will launch a search for a new CFO.
LGIMA has more than $110 billion in assets under management.
