Aaron Clark was named a portfolio manager at GW&K Investment Management, spokeswoman Sara Minar said.
The position is new. Mr. Clark will assist in managing the firm's three large-cap equity strategies, which had a total of a little more than $1 billion as of Dec. 31. He will report to Daniel Miller, a partner and director of equities at GW&K.
Mr. Clark was a principal and portfolio manager at Tetrem Capital Management. Tetrem vice president Kevin Robertson said that his responsibilities have been assumed by existing members of the team.
GW&K has more than $23 billion in assets under management, of which $5 billion are institutional.
