Luke Dixon joined BlackRock as head of Europe, Middle East and Africa hedge fund investment strategies, a spokesman confirmed.
The position is new. Mr. Dixon was previously co-head of public market manager selection at the Universities Superannuation Scheme, Liverpool, England. A spokeswoman for the £42.6 billion ($65.8 billion) pension fund said it would recruit a replacement in due course, when contacted about Mr. Dixon’s departure last month. An update was not available by press time.
