Jenny Yoe was named managing director, head of U.K. institutional for River and Mercantile Group, one of four recruitments or promotions for the U.K. institutional distribution team, a spokesman said.
All four positions are new, he said.
Ms. Yoe starts in April. She was previously a director at Affiliated Managers Group, focusing on distribution to U.K. institutions. An AMG spokeswoman declined to comment.
The £2.3 billion ($3.6 billion) money manager has also recruited Jason Wood, who is responsible for developing relationships with the local government pension funds in the U.K. Further details on his position were not available by press time.
Mr. Wood was previously a partner at Winchmore Capital, according to a statement by R&M. Executives at Winchmore Capital could not be reached for comment by press time.
Arabella Townshend was promoted to head of consultant relations for R&M, responsible for developing relationships with investment consultants in the U.K. The spokesman said Ms. Townshend has been working in the consultant relations team “for some time.” Information about a replacement for Ms. Townshend’s previous position wasn’t available by press time.
R&M also hired George Rudland as institutional marketing executive. He graduated from Leeds University in 2013.
