New Britain, Conn., is searching for an investment consultant for its Firemen’s Pension Plan and Police Benefit Fund, said an RFP posted on a Connecticut procurement website.
The current consultant of the pension funds, which have a combined $154 million in assets, is Fiduciary Investment Advisors. Whether the firm is invited to rebid could not be learned by press time.
The RFP is available on the state procurement website. Proposals are due at 11 a.m. EDT on March 27. A decision is expected sometime in April.
Christopher J. Wolf, the city’s acting director of finance and member of the pension fund’s board, did not return a phone call seeking further information by press time.
