State Street's Investor Confidence index dipped 1.3% in February to 105.2, its lowest level since December 2013.
Confidence among European investors fell the most (7.2%) in February, to its lowest level since April of last year, a news release said. In Asia, the index dipped 5.3% during the month.
However, the Investor Confidence index rose 3.1% among North American investors, which the firm said "may have been boosted" by improved labor market conditions.
A reading above 100 means institutional investors are increasing exposure to risky assets, while a reading below 100 implies a reduction to risky assets.
