Jahangir Aka was appointed head of Middle East and North Africa at Neuberger Berman, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Aka replaces Khalid Murgian, the spokeswoman said. Further details could not be learned by press time. Mr. Aka will lead and continue to grow the $250 billion money manager’s business in the MENA region. He will report to Dik van Lomwel, managing director and head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Latin America.
Mr. Aka was previously head of Middle East at SEI. A spokeswoman for SEI said he was replaced by Samer Kader. Further details were not available by press time.
