Alcoa Inc., Pittsburgh, expects to make a total of $485 million in contributions to its global pension funds in 2015, of which $380 million is for its U.S. plans.
Alcoa contributed $501 million to its global pension funds in 2014, according to the firm's 10-K, filed Thursday.
The fair value of Alcoa's pension assets totaled $11.72 billion as of Dec. 31. The asset allocation was 45% fixed income, 33% equities and 22% other.
