Spectranetics Corp., Colorado Springs, Colo., hired Prudential Retirement as record keeper for its $37 million 401(k) plan, said Robert Fuchs, senior vice president and global head of human resources at Spectranetics.
Mr. Fuchs wrote in an e-mail that Prudential replaced Standard Retirement Services and that the Prudential contract started in January.
“Standard was an outstanding partner, but in consideration of our recent growth we felt there was an opportunity to offer a new product to our teammates that supports our trajectory very well,” Mr. Fuchs wrote.
The company issued an RFP and said Standard Retirement Services was invited to rebid. “A number of other top qualified providers were considered,” he added.
