Stephanie Ouwendijk joined Franklin Templeton Investments as a vice president and portfolio manager in the firm’s emerging markets debt opportunities team, a spokeswoman said.
Ms. Ouwendijk replaced Claire Husson-Citanna, who left last year. Further details were not available.
Based in London, Ms. Ouwendijk reports to William Ledward, senior vice president and portfolio manager, who leads the emerging markets debt opportunities team. That team manages more than $10 billion, said a statement from Franklin Templeton.
Ms. Ouwendijk was previously a fund manager, focusing on external debt and blended debt strategies, at Ashmore Group, according to the statement. A spokeswoman for Ashmore declined to comment.
