Officials at the $66 billion pension fund committed $500 million to KKR & Co. for an investment partnership involving private equity, real estate, real assets and credit. And $200 million was allocated to Windham Capital Management for a risk-based, multiasset class portfolio.
In real assets, Virginia committed $150 million to Capri EGM, managed by Capri Capital Partners; $110 million to Blackstone Highline Property Co-Investment Partners, managed by The Blackstone Group LP; and $57.5 million to Fortress Japan Opportunity Fund III, managed by Fortress Investment Group.
Siris Partners III, a buyout fund managed by Siris Capital Group, received a commitment of $100 million.
