Mike Brooks was appointed co-lead of diversified growth strategies for Aberdeen Asset Management’s investment solutions business, a spokeswoman said.
The position is new; Mr. Brooks will start in late March. He will work in the £85 billion ($129.3 billion) multiasset unit, with the portfolio management and research teams.
Mr. Brooks was an investment manager for the diversified growth fund at Baillie Gifford. A spokeswoman for Baillie Gifford confirmed Mr. Brooks will leave in March. She said the fund will continue to be managed by Patrick Edwardson, James Squires and David McIntyre and there will be no change in investment process.
