Debby Blakey has been named CEO of the A$30 billion (US$23.5 billion) Health Employees Superannuation Trust Australia.
Ms. Blakey will replace Anne-Marie Corboy, Melbourne-based HESTA’s CEO for the past 16 years, when Ms. Corboy steps down at the end of February.
Ms. Blakey, HESTA’s deputy CEO, was selected following an “extensive search,” said Angela Emslie, chairwoman of HESTA’s board, in a news release Tuesday.
HESTA spokeswoman Sarah Blessing couldn’t immediately be reached for details on plans to fill Ms. Blakey’s deputy CEO position.
