Fairfax County Public Schools, Falls Church, Va., is searching for three record keepers for its $424 million 403(b) plan, said Javier S. Iturralde, contract administrator.
The school district is conducting the search because the current vendors’ contracts are expiring on Dec. 31.
The current record keepers are Great-West Financial (now Empower Retirement), TIAA-CREF and VALIC; all are invited to rebid.
Proposals are due on 2 p.m. EST on March 6. A decision is expected sometime in July. The contract would begin on Jan. 1, 2016.
The RFP is available on the county’s website.
